The new KTM 390 SMC R models will arrive at official KTM AVTODOM dealerships in spring 2025. This motorcycle combines advanced technology, power and ease of control. Fans of fast riding and adrenaline will be the first to appreciate all the advantages of the new product.
The KTM 390 SMC R is designed for riders who want to keep the situation under complete control and get the most out of every ride. The motorcycle has a single-cylinder LC4 engine with a volume of 399 cm³. It is also equipped with an electronic fuel injection system. This ensures precise dosing of power and economy. An improved 6-speed gearbox with a quick gear change makes control even more comfortable.
The lightweight steel trellis frame provides rigidity and stability. It keeps the weight of the motorcycle to a minimum – 154 kg dry. The high-tech braking system is equipped with Cornering ABS. This allows safely taking turns even at high speed. MTC (Motorcycle Traction Control) – an intelligent traction control system is included in the package additionally. This regulates the torque and prevents wheel slippage on difficult surfaces.
The KTM 390 SMC R received an updated 4.2-inch TFT instrument panel with an anti-glare coating. This provides convenient control of the settings and the display of all the necessary information. The intuitive KTMconnect multimedia system comes complete with a new instrument panel. It allows connecting smartphone via Bluetooth to control calls, music and navigation.
Aggressive styling and aerodynamic shapes inspired by older KTM models are combined in the design of the motorcycle. New generation LED optics provide excellent visibility in all conditions. Redesigned ergonomics of the seat and footers allow feeling comfortable even during long rides.
The seat height is 860 mm. This makes the model comfortable for most riders. The 9-liter fuel tank provides an optimal balance between lightness and range. 17-inch multi-spoke wheels with Michelin Power 6 tires provide reliable grip and confident behavior in corners.
