KTM has announced the all-new 390 Enduro R. This is a dual-sport motorcycle. Exceptionally easy handling and powerful performance on and off-road will pleasantly surprise fans of the brand. The KTM 390 ENDURO R is ready for anything. It combines adjustable suspension and the most modern driver assistance tools. The new product will appear in KTM AVTODOM in the second half of 2025.
KTM engineers have developed a lightweight exhaust system that has reduced the weight of the rear end by 5 pounds. The company claims to have used a dual catalyst and some tricks in the operation of the electronic control unit. This ensures that the engine operates with real-time exhaust gas cleaning and operating temperature regulation. This prevents pollution of the environment.
This model is ideal for off-road use, thanks to the steel two-piece rigid trellis frame, compact 9-liter fuel tank and shortened body design. The subframe is bolted on. This is better suited for unpaved roads because it makes repairs and replacement of parts easier. The open cartridge fork with a diameter of 43 mm provides 30-click stiffness adjustment. The damping adjustment of the WP APEX shock absorber, mounted at the rear with an offset from the center, is carried out in 20 clicks. It is characterized by easy adjustment of the spring preload due to the easy access to the shock absorber.
The KTM 390 ENDURO R boasts 21-inch multi-spoke front and 18-inch rear wheels. Metzeler Karoo 4 mud tires are ideal for them. ByBre brakes are installed on the new model. The front disc diameter is 285 mm and the rear disc diameter is 240 mm.
Volume the single-cylinder KTM LC4c engine is 399 cc. It produces impressive power and provides easy acceleration. This makes it ideal for driving on motorways and on steep mountain passes. KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with a new injection system that meets the Euro 5+ eco-standard.
Selection of riding modes is possible in the standard configuration. The user can turn off the traction control system and ABS. this is important when driving off-road. KTM tried to make the dashboard as simple as possible, despite the use of a new fashionable 5-inch TFT display.
